Jay-Z Talks About DJ Hero
MTV had a chance to sit down with Jay-Z to talk about DJ Hero and give him a chance to share why he got involved with the game. Jay-Z stated “success of Guitar Hero” coupled with “expanding the reach of hip-hop” is what turned him onto the title. I have to admit, that was my reasoning to actually WANT the game was because of the track list. That appealed to me the most. Having real turn tables in the house before, they were so hard for me to pick up and knowing that these games do help teach you the basics, I thought this would assist me.
Jay-Z went on to talk about his gaming habits and that they included sports titles, like...yes, you guessed it...Madden. MTV asked him if he'd be willing to go toe-to-toe with Eminem on a cuttin' and scratchin' challenge and he said, “would give him a run for his money”. However, Eminem spent the day practicing and it turned out to be the other way around.

Now, that's kind of unfair. Beatmania's track list primarily consists of crazy techno tracks. DJ Hero is focused heavily on the hip-hop genre where scratching makes up a lot of the musical experience.

FF IMO hasn't been good since VII. 8 was lame, 9 was riddled with glitches and very inconsistent battles, and 10 I just gave up, and lets not forget X-2. Ugh I can keep going on and on.
Well.. 09 was awesome. The characters were all scanned from each of the fighters this time around so they'll be more detailed. The sway system... a la Fight Night... will let you dodge punches now. I also like the addition of different martial arts…

And yes, I just finished Mass Effect 2 on PC, and goddamn what a great game. However, it is not an RPG. The leveling means almost nothing. But fantastic game.
