Uprising released today and I have been hyped about this game for quite a while. In fact this is one of three titles that made me want a 3DS in the first place. So when this finally hit stores today I just had to pick it up day 1. I even took a bunch of pictures with my phone to do a sort of mini-unboxing. It's that time again, time for a new Final Fantasy. Square Enix is quickly becoming the Call of Duty of RPGs and that statement kills me more than you know. Now... this isn't the first direct sequel Squeenix has tried to milk a game for, the first being Final Fantasy X-2, a game that a spectacular failure in my, and many many many other people's, eyes. The newest Dragon Age II DLC is something that is right up my alley. Rogue stuff, Felicia Day, new equips, new enemies... it's all too good to be true. Unfortunately so far it is. I've put in about 3 hours... so far that's a pretty sizable DLC mission. I'd like to say that 3 hours has been filled with gripping, wowing, content but so far I'm really just frustrated.
DLC starts off promising, you gotta help Tallis get the Heart of the Many. Cool, Lupin III-esque hi-jinks should ensue,
Gamestop does seem to be in the news quite a bit these days, and not always for the best of reasons. I feel pretty torn most of the time, as I think a lot of gamers do. For many reasons I know it would probably be good for the industry as a whole to stop buying at Gamestop, but I hope I'm not the only one who feels how hard of a descision this is to make.
