I had a second dream about my father, since his passing. The first dream I had was very brief and while he was in my dream, he didn't talk, he was just present. This morning, my dream is vivid and I want to jot it down, before I forget it. This is important to me, so I thought I would blog about it.
It started off that I was in the black Element dropping the boys both off at the middle school.
I wanted to take this time to recognize the men in my life who have made a difference in my everyday experiences. My father, of course, and my husband. My father is an amazing man, who will bend over backwards to do things for my family. He is an admiral person, with a huge heart. I do love him dearly. As you grow up, you may not realize how great your parents are, but I know that I have the best parents that anyone could ask for. They genuinely love and care for me, my husband, and my children.
I have just had it with everything I hear about my son, Benji's, Orchestra teacher. I just had to write her this letter today to show my dislike of how she handles her profession. She brags that she teaches Orchestra to so many different schools, yet it has been nothing but an interference with my son's class. Not only that, she is probably doing it because she needs the money, rather than for the pleasure of her hobby because she has her favorites in her class and I can see it, as a parent.
Gone, But Never Forgotten
As the cool morning awoke me from my sleep, I rolled over in my bed, not ready to get up just yet. I snuggled in my blankets to get just a few more minutes of comfort, when I was greeted by a happy and familiar face. No, it wasn’t Zion, although my three-year old loves affection and cuddling in the morning. No, it wasn’t my husband, as he had already gone to work. It was Kingston, our Bull Terrier.
